Ruskin Memorial Park Association Clean Up Morning
The Ruskin Cemetery currently known as Ruskin Memorial Park (RMP), was founded in 1908. The site was donated by the Dickman Family because of its location on the high bank of the Little Manatee River.
Ruskin Memorial Park depends largely upon volunteers and community members to continue to provide residents a beautiful resting place for loved ones. Several times of year a cemetery cleanup is hosted. Family and friends of loved ones buried there come together with community organizations and volunteers to clear around headstones and in-ground markers, remove fallen limbs and declutter grave sites.
This is also the community’s opportunity to meet our new Board of Directors.
We ask that all loved ones please check out the posted rules at the Cemetery or online at http://www.ruskinmemorialpark.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/RulesandRegs.pdf or https://www.facebook.com/ruskinmemorialpark/ and remove any personal items prior to the clean up. Items not in compliance of the rules will be disposed of as part of the cleanup.
Garbage bags and water will be provided. You should bring gloves, sunscreen and tools you would use to do yard work. Safety glasses are recommended. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, hat and comfortable clothes. For more information, call 813-699-0827, or email office@ruskinmemorialpark.org
