DESCRIPTION:Come learn all about our Education Committee and how you can help local students and teachers. The August 14th Chamber Luncheon is Co-Sponsored by Girls of the World\, Kids 'R' Kids and Kathy Eckhart and will be held at the Firehouse Cultural Center.\n\n\n\n \nOur Education Committee is gearing back up and has some great projects in store for the 2024-2025 school year! We have three pieces of information to relay to all of you\n\n \n#1\n\nWe invite all of you to join us at our August Chamber Luncheon to hear more about our committee and how you can help the local students and teachers throughout the year!\n\nThis luncheon is being sponsored by Girls of the World\, Kids R Kids & Committee Member Kathy Eckhart.\n\nWednesday\, August 14th @ 1130am at the Firehouse Cultural Center  \n\nRegister here-  https://www.southshorechamberofcommerce.org/events/details/august-monthly-chamber-luncheon-22000\n\n\n\n#2\n\nThe committee is launching a Pilot Program for tutoring students at Doby Elementary and York Innovation Academy PreK-8 this year.  We will be looking for anyone that has an interest in tutoring these Apollo Beach schools.  Please let us know if you are interested and we will add your name to the list.  You will then get information from the team as we move forward.\n\n\n\n#3\n\nWe are growing our committee!  Now is the time to jump onboard and get involved- the beginning of the school year!  If you have any interest at all in being an active committee member in working to help the schools please let us know.
