DESCRIPTION:Co-Sponsored by the Tampa Sailing Squadron and the SouthShore Chamber of Commerce\n\nANNUAL APOLLO BEACH LIGHTED BOAT PARADE\n\nSATURDAY\, DECEMBER 9th\, 2017\, 6:00 p.m. (Sunset)\n\nTAMPA SAILING SQUADRON\n\n\n\n \n\nThe public is invited to come watch The Annual Lighted Boat Parade on the docks of The Tampa Sailing Squadron\, located on Apollo Beach Boulevard. The event is free. All boaters in the surrounding communities are invited to participate. Any size boat\, power or sail\, is invited to join in the event. The Parade route will begin at the South channel and proceed towards Lands End Marina before winding around Lake Sunrise Basin\, back out and around Bal Harbor and then up Flamingo Canal. The route will return on Flamingo Canal and go around Dolphin House at the end of Grand Kaymen Drive\, then back out Flamingo Canal\, to finish back at the south channel.\n\n \n\nThe Boat Parade will be judged and multiple awards will be presented in all classes of entry. This year\, 1st place overall will receive dinner for two\, courtesy of the Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises.\n\n \n\nThere will be a required Captain's Meeting on Saturday\, December 9th at 10 a.m. at the TSS club house. The Captain of each boat participating in the Lighted Boat Parade must attend this mandatory meeting. All boats will be registered at this meeting and boat numbers for judging will be assigned. Every boat participating will receive a commemorative 2017 Apollo Beach Lighted Boat Parade Gift. Award ceremony following the end of the parade.\n\nCome and meet the members of The Tampa Sailing Squadron.
