Opera Tampa

In partnership with the Patel Conservatory & Straz Center the Firehouse Cultural Center presents Opera Tampa.

Opera Tampa is the resident opera company of the Straz Center. Opera Tampa produces and presents the highest caliber of grand opera, complete with the spectacle and grandeur that makes opera “the queen of the performing arts.” The elaborate, full-scale productions feature international performers, the full Opera Tampa Orchestra and the Opera Tampa Chorus, all under the direction of world-renowned composer-conductor Daniel Lipton.
